Hello, my name is Lauren and I'm native to Lebanon and Conway. I'd like to take some time and tell you about my journey and what brought me to where I am today. I started out wanting to find a career that worked for my daughter and I, as at the time, I was a single mom working two jobs. It took time away from her and I, so I wanted to look for something different to do. I looked into massage therapy after a family member told me they thought I’d be great at it. Looking into it, I found out that I could work a schedule based on the needs of my clients and myself and my daughter as well. That was a big one for me. I took a year to go to school and learn everything I needed to, to get started and then tested out and became licensed. I was so excited to start my journey, which brings me here now. In the past, I was a certified nurse’s assistant/aid and I really loved helping people in their everyday day lives. I was compassionate about my residents and their families and taking the best care of my residents that I could, but that made me want to go deeper into helping people in a different way. Massage was the way! I'm compassionate in my role of an LMT to find out what's going with my clients and treat them in my scope of practice to get their body back to what it was before.
